Jefferson County Library District is requesting bids for Parking Lot Sealing and Striping Questions may be directed to Gary Grzeskowiak, Facilities Supervisor, Jefferson County Library, via phone at 636-677-8689 or via email at gary@jeffcolib.org JCL is requesting competitive quotes from Contractors / Vendors for the purpose of Parking lot Sealing and Striping, located at 1701 Missouri State Road, Arnold, MO. 63010. This will include Preparing and Cleaning of all cracks and surface area of the paved surface. The sealing of all cracks 3/8 " or greater. Cracks to be sealed with a Hot Tar method that fills voids from the bottom up. All cracks sealed will be squeegeed to zero grade, even with the existing asphalt. Pothole Patch repairs (to be discussed at Pre Bid Meeting). Apply emulsion to the area to be patched to ensure adhesion. Install hot mix, commercial grade asphalt. Compact to a proper density and a smooth finish, using a vibrating plate compactor or roller. Seal the entire paved parking lot with 1 coat of concentrated commercial grade asphalt sealer with sand. Sealer to be applied by spray and or squeegee process. Total approximate square feet to seal coat: 37,000 sq ft. Restripe parking lot (Layout to be discussed at Pre Bid Meeting) using commercial grade yellow latex traffic paint. Striping to include approximately 67 parking spaces and 3 handicap spaces with emblems. 1 Veterans spot. Contractor is responsible for all permits required by the City or County.
