The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to invite qualified vendors to submit proposals to conduct a Right-of-Way asset inventory on all 421 centerline miles of roadway throughout the City of Allentown. This RFP is meant to provide a location and condition of all right-of-way roadway signs in the City of Allentown. Additionally, we are requesting separate, optional services for a pavement marking inventory and condition assessment. Question Deadline 03/20/2024 at 4:00 PM ET Questions regarding electronic submissions are welcome via email through Purchasing.Agent@allentownpa.gov. Time is of the essence for the performance of the Contract and the specifications, deadlines, and procedures established herein are mandatory. Meeting the deadlines set forth in the resulting contract is an essential and material term of the performance of the contract. The City is authorized to deduct and retain any monies that may be due or become due to the Contractor under this agreement. The daily charge per calendar day of $200.00 is based on the original contract amount ranging between $100,000.00 to $500,000.00. The City of Allentown reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted and to request additional information from any Contractor and the right to waive minor irregularities in the procedures or proposals if it is deemed in the best interests of the City of Allentown. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
