GENERAL PROVISIONS AND REQUIREMENTS These Special Provisions amend or supplement the City of Lincoln Standard Specifications for Municipal Construction, 2023 Edition, and other provisions of the Contract Documents as indicated herein. All provisions that are not so amended or supplemented via these special provisions remain in full force and effect. CONSTRUCTION PHASING AND ACCESS Work along 60th Street, between Aylesworth and Colby, and along Lexington, between 60th and 62nd must be completed between June 3, 2024 and August 9, 2024 while school is not in session. Francis St. 56th to 63rd, and Colby St. 56th to 63rd were both part of a residential PressurePave Project in 2023. This treatment is a thin, 0.25" surfacing so the Contractor shall exercise care in the use of equipment, storage and moving of materials as to not cause damage to the new surface. CONTRACT TIME, MILESTONES, AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES The Contractor shall have a total of one hundred eighty (180) consecutive calendar days from the Beginning of Work date to achieve Final Completion of this project as defined by Chapter 23.18 of the Standard Specification for Municipal Construction. Contractor may elect to pothole utilities between the Notice to Proceed and Beginning of Work time period without charges of calendar days. All Work shall be completed on or before November 22, 2024. STATUS OF RIGHT-OF-WAY All work is expected to take place within the existing right of way (ROW).
