**As of April 16, 2024, the project was awarded to Champion Excavating LLC in the amount of $59,631.90.** proposals are being sought includes the following approximate quantities: 950 CY Unclassified Excavation 1,100 SY Medium Rip Rap Installation at 18'' Depth 2,400 SY Landscape Restoration Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of De Pere, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute a contract and furnish a contract bond as set forth in the General Conditions of the City of De Pere . In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond, the amount of the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of De Pere as liquidated damages Each bidder shall pre-qualify by submitting proof of responsibility on forms furnished by the Director of Public Works. Such forms shall be filed with the Director of Public Works no later than 4:00 PM, Monday, March 25, 2024. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
