Village of Woodlawn Elevated Water Tower Demolition "Elevated Water Tower Demolition," a Demolition Project Consisting the Destruction and Removal of the Existing 40,000 Gallon Elevated Water Tower Located, at 506 N. Main Street. The Work will be substantially completed by July 1, 2024 and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions by July 31, 2024 The Contractor and Sub-contractors Shall Not Pay Less Than the Prevailing Rates of Wages as Found by the Dept. Of Labor or as Determined by the Court of Appeal, to All Laborers, Workmen, and Mechanics Performing Work Under This Contract, and Shall Comply With the Requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 Ilcs 130/1-12). Also, the Contractor Must Ensure That Employees and Applicants for Employment Are Not Discriminated Against Because of Their Race, Color, Religion, Sex, or National Origin. The Village of Woodlawn Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding, Bids May Be Held by the Village of Woodlawn for a Period Not to Exceed 60 Days From the Date of the Opening of Bids for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Qualifications of Bidders, Prior to Awarding of the Contract.
