Renovation of a library in Lyons, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Lyons Public Library has prepared a request for Proposals for carpet installation. The project should include but not limited to remove vinyl wall base, take up existing carpet, install commercial grade carpet, install wall base vinyl, install molding at the intersection of tile and carpet, remove all debris involved with the installation project. 1. Removal of existing carpeting and glue. 2. Removal of existing vinyl wall base. 3. Furnish and install new carpeting in the main library area (Estimated total replacement area: 6,600 SQ FT). 4. New carpeting to be commercial grade Mid Century Mad Collection or approved equal. 5. Estimates total replacement area: 6,600 SQ FT 6. Furnish and install new vinyl wall base. 7. All debris to be removed from the site by the Contractor. 8. The Contractor is required to be licensed and bonded per the Village of Lyons Building Department requirements.
