The project consists generally of Babb liftstation renovation, including the following: Replacement of pumps, railings, pump and level controls. All workers employed by Contractor or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of the State of Montana and the Blackfeet Tribe. The Contractor is required to comply with the requirements of the Blackfeet Tribe Tribal Employment Rights Office, for information call (406) 338-7887. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. This project is funded in part or in whole with funding from Indian Health Service. Award of the project will be contingent upon receiving funding and award occurrence from the above stated agencies. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed sixty days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the Owner.
