The County of Riverside Purchasing on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Corrections Bureau, is soliciting quotations to supply and install water softeners and for water softener exchange services to support the function and operation at four (4) correctional facilities at the following locations: Cois M. Byrd Detention Center (CBDC - kitchen), Larry D. Smith Correctional Facilities (SCF - kitchen and laundry), Robert Presley Detention Center (RPDC - kitchen) and the kitchen at the Blythe Jail. The service requested will support the on-site laundry and kitchen operations. The daily meal count for each location is as follows. 1. CBDC: 3,600 meals per day 2. SCF: 4,800 meals per day 3. RPDC: 2,700 meals per day 4. Blythe Jail 360 meals per day The number and size of the tanks, and frequency of service for each location, will depend on the hardness of the water. Bidders can make their assessment by attending a mandatory job walk noted in Section 3.0, Pre-bid Requirements. In addition, bidders are responsible for their own equipment and supplies needed to evaluate this bid. At any time, should the service and frequency of service change, the selected vendor must notify the facility manager before making any changes or starting a new schedule.' The Scope of Service is detailed in Exhibit A, page 9 and 10. In addition to your bid response, please upload a detailed quote. Pricing quoted must be all-inclusive and include, delivery, sales tax, and all applicable costs such as but not limited to travel, vehicle, fuel, mileage, tank rental, equipment, softener product, delivery, handling, and any other operating costs on the PublicPurchase.com website. The County may award without contract negotiation; therefore, bidders should submit their best and final pricing. The County reserves the right to reject any or all offers, to waive any discrepancy or technicality and to split or make the award in any manner most advantageous to the County.
