Construction Services to include demolition, site work, playground replacement, concrete flatwork, and park amenities. Construction to start first with Bellaire and then with Highland Park, due to Youth Summer program. Owner Rights: City reserves the right to delete line items prior to award. The Deadline for questions is scheduled for March 25, 2024 at 4:00PM (CT). Bond Notes: A good and sufficient Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract Sum, guaranteeing the full and faithful execution of the Work and performance of the Contract in accordance with Plans, Specifications and all other Contract Documents, including any extensions thereof, for the protection of City. This Performance Bond also shall provide for the repair and maintenance of all defects due to faulty materials and workmanship that appear within a period of one (1) year from the date of final Completion or acceptance of the Work by City, or lesser or longer periods as otherwise may be designated in the Contract Documents. PAYMENT BOND. A good and sufficient Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the total Contract Sum, guaranteeing the full and prompt payment of all claimants supplying labor or materials in the prosecution of the Work provided for in the Contract, and for the use and protection of each claimant. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES reflect the daily monetary compensation, as designated in the Project's solicitation documents, to be paid to City by Contractor for losses/damages incurred by City as a result of Contractor's failure to achieve the contractual dates for Substantial Completion and/or Final Completion of the Project.
