Bid Alternate A: o Approximately 1,050 lineal feet of RCP storm sewer of various sizes including all structures and connections. o Approximately 800 linear feet of single lane roadway reconstruction including associated removals, intersections, curb and gutter spot repair, driveway aprons, dense graded base, and double chip seal. o All other surface, grading, erosion control, and turf restoration work. The anticipated substantial completion date is August 20, 2024, and final completion date is August 29, 2024, for Base Bid work. The anticipated substantial completion date is September 18, 2024, and final completion date is September 27, 2024, for Bid Alternate A work. Additional Description: Instructions to Bidders. No proposal will be accepted unless ac companied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates.
