CDBG South Ridgewood Ave East Side Sidewalk Improvements The work consists of removing an existing 3'-6" & 4' foot non-ADA deteriorated concrete sidewalk and replacing it with a new 5' foot ADA compliant concrete sidewalk, including ADA compliant detectable mats and curbing in strict accordance with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements on the east side of South Ridgewood Avenue from Granada Boulevard to the Central Avenue per the approved plans, specifications and Invitation to Bid. A bid alternate #1 section from Central Avenue to Mound Avenue, bid alternate #2 section from Mound Avenue to Fairview Avenue, bid alternate #3 section from Fairview Avenue to Division Avenue will be a part of this bid and will be included if sufficient funding is available. Also, bid alternate #4 section from the northeast corner of South Ridgewood Avenue from Tomoka Avenue to Eileen Butts Street will be part of this bid and will be installed with CDBG excess carry over funds. All work done on the sidewalk improvements project must adhere to the Highway Wage All work done on the sidewalk improvements project must adhere to the Highway Wage Determination, FL 20230191, see Attachment "A" in the project manual. The work is shown on the Drawings and specified in the Project Manual. Question Deadline 04/02/2024 at 5:00 PM ET All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Coordinator via email to Rob.Hart@ormondbeach.org This is a federally assisted project and is subject to Federal Labor Standards which include, the Davis-Bacon Act (payment of prevailing wage rates) and the Copeland Act (anti-kickback of wages & submission of weekly certified payroll reports), as well as other provisions including 24 CFR 85.36 (bonding requirements), and Section 3 & M/WBE. Laborers and mechanics employed by primary contractors and sub-contractors performing construction work on this project shall be paid wages at rates not less than the prevailing rates as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act. The prime contractor is responsible for the enforcement of wage compliance and support documentation for the duration of the project and may be held liable for wage restitution.
