The Scope of Work contemplated for the above-named project includes the complete modernization of one (1) 2,500 lbs capacity standard in-ground hydraulic passenger elevator operating at 100 fpm, as well as all other work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All questions are due in writing to Robert Koochagian, via email, rkoochagian@tandmassociates.com no later than March 20, 2024. Issuance of final Addendum will be March 21, 2024. The provided Bid Packet must be completed in the manner designated in the Contract Documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the Project on the outside and must be addressed to the Business Administrator. Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "Neptune Township" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project are required. Neptune Township reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. All Base Bid Scope work on the Modernization of the Municipal Building Elevator project shall be completed within one hundred sixty-five (165) Calendar Days or one hundred eighty-five (185) should Add Alternate # 3 be selected each from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
