The Project Consists Primarily of the Milling and Resurfacing of Various Streets at Various Locations Within the Township Including Minor Drainage Improvements Like Resetting Castings. Resurfacing Limits May Be Sections of a Road or Entire Streets as Directed by the Township. A List of the Specific Streets and Quantities Will Be Provided Prior to the Start of Construction. Major Estimated Quantities Are as Follows: Hot Mix Asphalt Milling, 3" or Less 82,050 S.y. Hma 9.5m64 Surface Course, 2" Thick ,400 Tons Concrete Curb 2,000 Lf Granite Block Curb 1,000 Lf Concrete Sidewalk, 4" Thick 1,000 Sy Detectable Warning Surface 500 Sf. A Certified Check or Cashier's Check Made Payable to the Township of Parsippany-troy Hills, or a Duly Executed Bid Bond in the Amount of 10% of Each Bid, but in No Case in Excess of $20,000.00, Must Be Deposited by the Bidder Together With a Certificate of Surety Evidencing That He Can Obtain the Required Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Total Amount of the Contract. The Successful Bidder Shall Be Required to Deliver to the Township an Executed Performance Bond of the Responsible Indemnity Company Authorized to Do Business in the State of New Jersey. In Lieu of a Certificate of Surety, the Bidder Shall Submit, at the Bid Opening, a Certified Check or Cashier's Check in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Total Amount of the Bid. Bids Must Be Received by the Office of the Director of Purchasing on or Before the Time and Date of the Bid Opening. No Bids Will Be Accepted After Said Hour. The Township of Parsippany Troy Hills Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids or to Waive Any Minor Informalities or Irregularities in the Proposal Received and Award a Contract to the Lowest Responsible Bidder as Required by N.j.s.a. 40a:11-4.
