Site work and paving for a road / highway in McIntyre, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of April 23,2024 the project has been awarded to The Scruggs Company with the amount of $272,491.25 Department of Transportation Specifications for Patching, Leveling, Resurfacing, Tack Coat, and Stripping should be followed. Payment will be based on quantities in place. Bidders are required to visit roads prior to bidding. Project Scope: The project consists of approximately 1.4 miles of roadway. The successful bidder will submit a certificate of workers comp., liability insurance, the project upon being awarded the bid. The Wilkinson County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any bid. Interested bidders can contact Tracy Strange, County Manger tstrange@wilkinsoncounty.net for the list of roads for resurfacing. There will be no required pre-bid meetings for this project. Bidders are required to submit questions via email to tstrange@wilkinsoncounty.net. Questions will be answered as they are submitted. Answers will be emailed to all that are in receipt of this RFP.
