Sharyland Woods Subdivision Street Improvement. Project Description: Project Consists of Providing Pavement Rehabilitation of Streets at the Sharyland Woods Subdivision. A Bid Bond in the Amount of 5 Percent of the Bid Issued by an Acceptable Surety Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. A Certified Check or Bank Draft Payable to the City of Alton or Negotiable U.s. Government Bonds (as Par Value) May Be Submitted in Lieu of the Bid Bond. Equal Opportunity in Employment All Qualified Applicants Will Receive Consideration for Employment Without Regard to Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Age, Handicap or National Origin. The Contract Will Be Awarded to the Lowest Responsible Bidder. Bids May Be Held by the City of Alton for a Period Not to Exceed 90 Days From the Date of the Bid Opening for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Bidder's Qualifications Prior to the Contract Award. The City of Alton Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informality in the Bidding. In Case of Ambiguity or Lack of Clearness in Stating Prices in Any Bid, the Owner Reserves the Right to Consider the Most Advantageous Construction Thereof or to Reject the Bid.
