The Engineer estimate is $1,264,454.00. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in an amount equal to 5% of total bid tendered, and made payable to the Guernsey County Commissioners, as a guarantee that, if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into in accordance therewith, and the check of successful bidder will be returned upon proper execution of contract with successful bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid, Certificate of Insurance, Workers Compensation Certificate. ASPHALT PAVING WORK: The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment that shall be required for the paving and striping of the roads noted according to the applicable items with the latest Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Material Specifications latest addition.
