Renovation of an educational facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
All fire alarm replacement / renovation work shall be per the Repair Section 603 of the NC Existing Building Code (Ed. 2018) and maintain the existing level of fire alarm protection to meet and / or exceed the requirements of the edition of the NC State Building Code that the existing system is assumed to have been constructed under. The building repair code does not require the upgrade to a Voice Evacuation System per recent discussions with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Bids will be received for single prime work. All proposals shall be lump sum. Payment will be made based on ninety-five percent (95%) of monthly estimates and final payment made upon completion and acceptance of work. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of (45) days. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
