Site work and renovation of a civil project in Winter Park, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

**As of May 1, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. Bids for the project came in significantly higher than expected and are currently being evaluated by the owner for options. The City of Winter Park is seeking competitive bids for the Ravaudage Pump Station and Force Main for its Water and Wastewater Utilities Department. The project consists of a new Ravaudage Pump Station and approximately 7,500 feet of 12-inch PVC sanitary force main. The new pump station consists of a 10-foot diameter wet well, duplex submersible pumps, emergency generator, an aboveground fuel tank, an electrical building, piping, instrumentation and controls, site work, etc. The project also includes upgrades and modifications to the existing Wymore Pump Station. These upgrades and modifications include the demolishing of existing pumps, generator, electrical and control equipment; modifications to piping; installation of new duplex pumps, emergency generator, instrumentation and controls, bypass pumping, etc. Question Submission Deadline:April 5, 2024, 10:00am Each bid must be accompanied by the Respondent's money order, cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond made payable to the City of Winter Park in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Upon contract award, the Successful Respondent shall be required to furnish and pay for bonds covering the faithful performance of the contract and payment of all obligations arising thereunder by delivering to the City a Performance & Payment Bond ("P&P Bond"). The P&P Bond shall be furnished in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the annual contract price, in such a form as the City may prescribe and with a surety company acceptable to the City. The City reserves the right to: o award by individual item, aggregate, or none, or any combination thereof; o award to one or more suppliers; o cancel the bid; o reject any or all bids; o waive any minor informalities or technicalities in responses received, as may be deemed in the best interest of the City in the City's sole discretion. IFB12-24 SCOPE OF WORK A. Demolish and renovate items as shown in the Contract Documents. The following paragraphs supplement the information in the table. 1. The sidewalk, curb and gutter, and hogwire fence for Ravaudage site. 2. The water meter, hose bib, chain-link fence and gate at Wymore. 3. The top slab, 4-inch vent, and access hatches and supports for Wymore’s wet well are to be demolished. 4. Existing Wymore pumps 1, 2, and 3, their associated guide rail assemblies, and level instruments are to be demolished. 5. Discharge piping from Wymore pumps 1, 2, and 3 up to their check valves are to be demolished. The middle pump is to have its check valve demolished. 6. Wymore's 4-inch bypass pump out connection is to be demolished. 7. The existing generator concrete slab and stairs at Wymore is to be demolished. 8. The existing power, local control panels DFS Antenna and equipment posts at Wymore are to be demolished. 9. The existing generator, concrete slab and stairs at Wymore are to be demolished. 10. Owner retains the right to request that items selected for demolition be retained by Owner for future beneficial use. Contractor shall treat such items with care so that they are not damaged. Before demolishing any items, Contractor shall obtain the approval of Owner.
