Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tampa, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The City of Tampa desires to obtain professional engineering, design, planning, cultural resources assessment, and related services for design services of the the City of Tampa Air Force Base Access Improvements State Funded Grant Agreement project, for improvements to the Interbay Boulevard Corridor (West Shore Blvd. To Bayshore Blvd.) Project is to include conversion from an existing 2-lane undivided road to a proposed 3-lane divided road west of Dale Mabry Hwy (SR 573), plus wide sidewalks with special emphasis RRFB pedestrian crossings, side street connections, ADA and drainage improvements,bicycle accommodations, and complete pavement resurfacing and restriping. The project design will also incorporate intermittent pavement widening of the roadway to accommodate a center two-way left-turn lane [TWLTL] (or intermittent left-turn pockets) along the corridor from West Shore Blvd. to Dale Mabry Hwy. (SR 573). Any design in the FDOT ROW must be in accordance with the latest edition of the Department's Standard pecifications for Road and Bridge Construction and Department Design Standards and Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices ("MUTCD"). The following guidelines shall apply the Department Structures Design Manual, AASHTO Guide Specifications for the Design of Pedestrian Bridges, AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, the Department Design Manual ("FDM") will replace the PPM) and the Department Traffic Engineering Manual. - 100% Plans and Project Clear Certifications Submitted to the FDOT before 01/20/2026. - Final Design to be Complete and Submitted to the Department before 06/05/2026. Estimated fee is $1,200,000. Firms desiring to provide these services to the City must submit a single electronic file in searchable PDF format, Smaller than 10MB, that includes the attached RFQ Transmittal Memorandum completed as appropriate, a Letter of Interest addressed to Brad L, Baird, P.E., Chairman, and referring to this RFQ by number, together with a Statement of Qualifications and any supplemental material allowing evaluation for further consideration (short-listing) based upon the following criteria/point system: Successful comparable Local Agency Program (LAP) and/or State Funded Grant Agreement (SFGA) Successful Comparable Project experience (40); Complete Street Experience (25); Past performance/Low amount of City work (10); Standard Form #330 (5); "Ban-The-Box", (5pts): Planned WMBE/SLBE Solicitation & Utilization, Forms MBD 10 & 20, 50,70, and 71 (20 pts) The PDF file must be E-Mailed to ContractAdministration@tampagov.net BEFORE 2 P.M., April 12, 2024. As a courtesy, the City will endeavor to provide an email acknowledgement usually sent within a few days after submission receipt (submissions received on the day of the deadline may not be acknowledged before the deadline or at all). Please be advised that even if you have a self declared attribute on the Demandstar system, your firm must complete the City of Tampa certification process in order to take advantage of the program benefits in City bidding opportunities.
