An evaluation will be performed to determine if the dam is regulated and identify what must be done to bring the dam into compliance. The project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of September 3, 2025, per owner, they are just finalizing the proposal to develop conceptual designs to determine the best option to move forward with full design. They are many years out from construction. It often takes a year just for coordination and approval of the design from the regulatory agency. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
