Upgrade Fairmont Park Flood Pump Station. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45-days after the actual bid opening thereof, in accordance with the New York State General Municipal Law, Section 105. No pre-bid conference for the Project will be held. Interested bidders may visit the site at any time at the Fairmont Park Flood Pump Station located at the western terminus of Oak Street near the Fairmont Park Apartments in Johnson City, New York. Contractors shall document good faith efforts to solicit active participation by Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) for provision of labor and/or materials as appropriate. The proposed project will upgrade the Fairmont Park Flood Pump Station by providing a permanent steel platform and emergency generator above the 100-year flood elevation. The project will include new electrical components including pump controls, power supplies and automatic transfer switch mounted on the new steel platform. In addition, a new 250 KW gaseous fuel emergency generator and remote monitoring system will be constructed on the new steel platform. Other site improvements include adding a parking area for maintenance vehicles and site restoration. the Town reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or to reject any or all bids.
