Questions can be submitted until 2:00 P.M. on March 26, 2024 Q&A Deadline 03/26/2024 2:00 PM (PDT) The work (Base Bid) shall consist of replacing two existing lineshaft vertical turbine pumps and installing new fence fabric covers at the SOM Pump Station. The Base Bid includes new noise-reducing Fence Fabric Covers, two new vertical turbine pumps, two new vertical turbine pump motors, and new piping, valves, and appurtenances. Work consists of installing new noise-reducing fabric covers along portions of the existing chainlink at the project site, replacing the existing station pumps, motors, and appurtenances with new vertical turbine pumps, motors, and appurtenances, and seismic anchorage design for the new lineshaft vertical turbine pumps. Bid Alternate includes demolishing the existing chainlink fence surrounding the vertical turbine pumps and installing new sound-proof panels. The work shall also consist of seismic anchorage design for the new sound-proof panels. Engineer's Estimate for the project (Base Bid + Bid Alternate) is approximately $370,000.
