Bids shall be based upon these specifications. A complete description of the items/equipment included in the bid shall be submitted. Alternative bids must be accompanied by a detailed description of the alternate specifications on the forms attached. If the bidder is a corporation, the alternate proposal shall be signed in writing by an authorized officer of the corporation. The bidder does hereby agree that if awarded the contract under these specifications, he will indemnify and save harmless the Chester County Intermediate Unit Board of Directors, its members, the Purchasing Manager and assistants from all suits and actions of every nature and description brought against them or any of them growing out of any contract or contracts, written or verbal, entered into between the Chester County Intermediate Unit Board of Directors and the successful bidder, and further that upon the awarding of the contract to the undersigned bidder in accordance with these specifications, this agreement of indemnification shall automatically become effective. The Chester County Technical College High School Pennocks Bridge Campus Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, either by item or in total, and will make award in the best interest of the Chester County School TCHS-PB Campus.
