City/County : McLean Bituminous Surface Treatment, A-1 and Fog Seal. Bituminous Materials - PG 52-28, HFRS-2P, and NTEA Cover Coat Aggregate - CA-14 (Gravel, Furnish & Spread) Seal Coat Aggregate - CA-15/16 (Gravel, Furnish & Spread) Project Location: Various County Highways throughout McLean County ILDOT - Bituminous Surface Treatment, A-1 and Fog Seal - 24-00000-00-GM This will consist of 1 application of NTEA at 0.15 gallon per square yard. The bituminousmaterial canbeapplied the full width of the finished surface in one operation with a pressure distributor or thecontractorcan make one pass in one lane then wait for the NTEA to break and then make onepassintheoppositelane. This process can be completed 1 mile at a time. This work shall be done in2or 3daysafterthesealwork is completed. The surface will be swept prior to applying the Fog Seal. Thecontractor will beresponsible for all traffic control during this work.
