Scope of work: Following all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, safely remove all trash and debris from the 4-5 acre storm water detention pond located on the Department's Operations Center. Mow and or weed eat all vegetative material in the area outlined below on the map down to 2-3 inches in height from the ground level. Remove any surplus vegetative debris by raking or bagging with push lawn mower. Work must be completed within 2 weeks of award of contract. Background: The Department has a 4-5 acre storm water retention pond. The entire area between the curbing and fencing should be cleaned of trash and debris before being cut. Requirements: Contractor must be licensed to perform work in Orangeburg, SC. Contractor must remove all used scrap items in the containers provided. Must comply with all the DPU vendor requirements - contained electronically. The RFP response form must be completed and returned to the DPU. Contractor must agree to the attached contract (sample provided). Attachments: The DPU has provided a draft contract and map of the area in question.
