As of September 24, 2025, this project received no bids and was cancelled. The work consists of the following: The repair of the existing faux rock wall. Reference the attached drawings and specifications for detailed information. Work that is included in this scope and to be included in the bid submittal; 1. All work and products are to be submitted and approved per the requirements established in the attached drawings and specifications. Colors will be confirmed after contract award. 2. Repair damaged and deteriorating sections of the existing rock wall to match the existing textures, colors and other finishes as close as possible. 3. Protection of all areas and surfaces that are not specifically part of this project scope. 4. Area cordoning to prevent worksite contamination into other spaces still open to the public. 5. Worksite safety. 6. Worksite maintenance and cleanliness. 7. Open coordination with city representative and staff and other contractors that will be on site and performing work not associated with this project. The entire name of the project must appear on the outside of the bid envelope submitted to the City of Olathe. A satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder of an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5.00%) of the total bid work shall be submitted with each proposal. Bidder shall submit a scanned copy of the surety. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds The City of Olathe, Kansas, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Olathe, Kansas, for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. All work must be completed between 04 June 2024 and 02 August 2024 work as described in these bid request documents will be coordinated by City of Olathe project manager with additional trades for the same available timeframe.
