Stone Delivery This project is for approximately 1000 Tons of wall rock and approximately 600 Tons of R6-R8 (both types clean with minimal fines) stone to be delivered to State Game Lands #084 and dumped at a staging area along the Well Road. The wall rock may be limestone or hard sandstone of pieces ideally 7-8 feet long, 3-5 feet wide and 2-3 feet thick. The tendency towards square and angular stone is preferable rather than toward round. As further guarantee of faithful performance of the conditions set forth in this Contract, the successful bidder hereby agrees to furnish the Commission with Cashier's or Treasurer's Check, payable to the Pennsylvania Game Commission, as bond in the amount of $5,000.00. Duration: Upon award through 6/30/2024 The site location is shown on the attached maps in East Cameron Township, Northumberland County (40.732651, -76.588615). A purchase order will be generated for this project. Payment for the stone deliveries will be made on the invoices posted against the purchase order. Bids must be submitted on the form provided and submitted according to the directions on the bid form. A location map showing the project site and stone delivery requirements are included. The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive technical defects in bids and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. A purchase order will be executed with the lowest responsible bidder shortly after the bids are opened. Payment will be made according to the rules of the purchase order.
