Pflugerville ISD requests proposals for APC UPS units and associated accessories. The equipment will be acquired to replace current UPS units at every PfISD campus and administration building and each associated MDF/IDF throughout the district. The deadline for submitting questions is 12:00 pm CST, March 15, 2024. Questions should be submitted by email and addressed to the Purchasing Office to Guadalupe.Ornelas@pfisd.net. Answers to questions shall be made public by addenda to be posted on the district's website by the end of business on March 18, 2024. Questions will not be accepted by phone. Pflugerville ISD will only respond to questions submitted as directed above. Proposal Award (Anticipated) April 18, 2024 There will be no pre-bid conference. Payment and Performance bonds are required for this project. a) Inventory of installed equipment- The vendor will provide an electronic document detailing MDF/IDF, rack, make, model, serial number, switch/port(s), and location of all applicable equipment. b) The removal of all existing UPS units listed in "Current Equipment", including documentation of proper disposal, and all labor and costs associated with their packaging for trade-in or disposal. c) Vendor will store all equipment in vendor's warehouse until date of installation. d) The mounting and installation of all purchased equipment. e) The installation, configuration and connection of all environmental sensors. f) The installation, configuration and connection of all snmp cards. Switch and port(s) should be documented and provided along with other electronic documentation. g) The dress in and Velcro of all power cords and ethernet cables. h) Documentation shall be provided by the awarded vendor at project close-out detailing all installations performed. i) The installation vendor will provide a dedicated project manager for the duration of the project. This project manager is responsible for providing weekly updates to the PfISD project team. j) After-hours and weekend work will be necessary for the majority of the project to avoid classroom interference. Most work Monday to Friday will take place after 6:30pm. Details will be worked out between PfISD Technology Services and the awarded vendor.
