Reference Number 0000344793 Job Location Town of Naples Road Name County Road 33 Work under this contract will include the extension of culvert #2 on County Road 33 along with stabilization of the drainage channel at the outlet of the culvert in the Town of Naples. The work will also include clearing and grubbing, stone filling, embankment placement, topsoil and turf establishment and other incidental construction to complete the project. The scope of this work includes, but is not limited to the following: Provide, maintain, and remove temporary erosion control measures Clearing and grubbing highway right-of-way and work area where needed Maintain and protect traffic for the duration of the project in conformance with NYSDOT and MUTCD requirements Locating, preserving and protecting existing utilities at all times Maintain stormwater flows Construction of embankment Construction of drainage channels per line and grade as shown on contract plans Restoration of all property disturbed by construction Turf establishment Incidental work necessary to completely and satisfactorily construct the project The Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, disposal, and performing all work in accordance with these Contract Documents, technical specifications and plans, as ordered by Engineer. Substantial Completion by 8/30/24 Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % -- Each bid shall include Bid security in the amount of five (5%) percent of the total bid offered by the bidder. Said bid security shall be in the form of a certified check, bond, or irrevocable line of credit and is required to be included with the bid submittal *Ontario County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Question Deadline 03/29/2024 5:00 PM ET Questions about or clarifications to the Bid Specifications must be made in writing to the County Purchasing Director prior to the bid opening via regular mail (at the address listed in the Notice to Bidders), e-mail (Purchasing@ontariocountyny.gov ), or fax (585-396- 4250). Such questions must be in the possession of the County Purchasing Director three (3) working days prior to the bid opening unless otherwise indicated. Please indicate the bid number on your request. Verbal questions may not be entertained.
