The pump and motor at the Bon Aire Pump Station, is located on 20 Sylvan Way which is beyond the useful life and requires replacement. Proposal shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder, addressed to the Board of Trustees, Village of Suffern, Suffern Village Hall, 61 Washington Avenue, Suffern, New York and endorsed "Village of Suffern Village Hall Replacement of Boilers Project." * The Board of Trustees reserves the right to select the bid, the acceptance of which in their judgment will best serve the efficient performance and guaranteed completion of the work and to reject any and all bid presented, or to award the contract to other then the low bidder if, in the opinion of the Board, the best interest of the Village may be served thereby, or to accept the whole or any part of a bid or proposal as the same may be modified by mutual consent. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, labor, tools and miscellaneous components, associated parts and supervision for the direct replacement of(one) pump and (one) motor at the Bon Aire Pump Station. Installation must comply with all local laws, regulations and ordinances. All materials and components used in the installation ofthe new pump shall meet all relevant regulations and standards, such as NSF/ANSI61 or FDA Standards. All work related to the installation of a new pump and new motor must proceed in an expeditious manner, with a maximum shutdown duration ofseventy-two (72) hours.
