VDOT PROJECT 0006-076-192, UPC 106490, FEDERAL FL-FLAP(006) Generally, the project consists of the development of a new 1-mile trail consisting of natural surface trails, 1,100 LF of wetland boardwalk, and two prefabricated bridge structures. Construction will take place on federal property, Featherstone NWR, managed by the US Fish & Wildlife Service with access granted via a 2017 Right-of-way agreement and a 2023 Special Use Permit. Work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of erosion control devices, clearing and grubbing, grading, excavation, supplying and installing storm sewers pipes, sanitary sewer, waterline, SWM Facilities, traffic signals, signage, pavement markings, lighting, drainage structures, ditches, curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, asphalt paving, mill and overlaying, and all measures required for the maintenance of traffic during construction. All work shall be performed in accordance with the approved project plans and bid documents.
