SCOPE OF WORK
The Contractor shall provide service to the Town within three hours of an emergency service
request, seven days a week.
The Contractor shall provide all of the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to service the
Parks Department with the following or related work on an as-needed basis:
1. Irrigation
a) Pipe break repair
b) Wire tracking and repair
c) Sprinkler head repair
d) Sprinkler head adjustments
e) Valve repair
f) Control box troubleshooting
g) Control box repair or replacement
2. Drainage
a) Pipe break repair
b) Pipe blockage clearing
c) Pipe blockage repair
d) Drain collapse repair
e) New drain installation
3. Equipment Rental with Experienced Operator
a) John Deere 3320 4WD tractor with a 300 CX Front End Loader
b) Land Pride multi-tined 90-degree angle tiller
c) Southern Laser Level with 360-degree sensor
The Contractor shall open the Town of Greenwich irrigation systems in spring and close the
systems in the fall. The irrigation system locations have multiple heads per location.
There are approximately seventeen (17) irrigation system locations:
1. Bruce Park Bowling Green
2. South Water Street Park
3. Town Hall (front lawn)
4. Greenwich Commons off Greenwich Avenue (BOE building)
5. Cos Cob Park
6. Greenwich Avenue Senior Center
7. 200 Indian Field Road (Department of Parks and Recreation barn)
8. Laughlin Park
9. Havemeyer, upper and lower fields.
10. Greenwich High School, Baseball and Softball fields, two grass areas adjacent to fields
three and four, and two exterior drinking fountains.
11. Binney Park
12. Eastern Middle School
13. Teufel Field
14. Byram Shore Pool grass area
15. Strazza Baseball Field
16. Julian Curtis School Field
