The City of Fairhope is requesting responses from qualified suppliers for the acquisition of ductile iron pipe, fittings, and valves for the City's Water Treatment Plant No. 1. The ductile iron pipe, fittings, and valves quoted in the Invitation to Bid will be installed under a separate contract. Questions or comments pertaining to this bid must be presented in writing, sent as e-mail to the attention of the Purchasing Manager, Erin Wolfe, 555 South Section St., Fairhope, AL 36532, e-mail: Purchasing@FairhopeAL.gov, by Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. or will be forever waived. Not Applicable Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security equal to 5% (percent) of the bid price, but in no event more than $10,000.00. Bid Security shall be in the form of a Bid Bond or a cashier's check payable to The City of Fairhope. No Bid Security is required on bids less than $10,000.00.
