Usage is not guaranteed. Execution of an agreement between the City and successful firm(s) and/or individual(s) does not guarantee work throughout the duration of the contract period. Numerous factors will be evaluated by the City in its delivery of project and assignments, including technical expertise required. General Requirements 1. Consultant shall: i. Be an independent contractor capable of providing experienced, knowledgeable and professional staff. ii. Be responsive and maintain excellent working relationships with city residents, businesses, government officials and City staff. iii. Provide adequate staffing and budget levels at all times and adhere to established schedules. iv. Be knowledgeable of and comply with federal, state and local regulations, including but not limited to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the Santa Ana Municipal Code. v. Provide environmental services under the direction of City staff. vi. Participate in community meetings, public presentations and outreach, as needed based on each activity/task. vii. Prepare all notices, submit filings, conduct scoping meetings, attend City staff meetings, assist staff in preparing staff reports, findings, approvals, presentations, and any other related activities. viii. Have provide electronic copies of all documents as well as physical copies if requested. Q&A Deadline March 25, 2024 4:00 PM (PDT) Owner Rights: The City will not accept any requests after the deadline for questions and reserves the right to reject or strike any requests for exceptions or additional terms and conditions related to Agreement, RFP, and insurance and indemnification terms and conditions. The City reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any proposed pricing adjustment not to exceed the Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index (CPI) data as follows: Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, CA; All Urban Consumers; Not Seasonally Adjusted; annualized change comparing the most recent month's reported data to the same month of the prior year.
