The City of Manchester, New Hampshire, through the Department of Public Works, Facilities Division is inviting roofing contractors with appropriate construction experience and capabilities to submit a confidential "Prequalification Statement" for the above project: The selected project involves a school with approximately 50,000 sq./ft. of EPDM or PVC roofing to be replaced. Qualified contractors must have demonstrated past experience with similar structures and construction. Contractor must have available bond capacity in the magnitude of $1,000,000 dollars. It is currently the City's intention to award a contract for the services requested, to approved and pre-qualified general contractors in April 2024 or earlier with construction starting on or about June 20, 2023. The Department of Public Works may extend the final executed roofing contract, based on unit prices or negotiated pricing, for a period of up to three years from contract signing, to the successful bidder or bidders at any City of Manchester owned facility Construction plans are currently under final development. Approved Prequalified Contractors will be notified and supplied with plans, specifications, and proposal forms once available. Selection of the successful contractor(s) will be in accordance with Chapter 39: of the Procurement Code of the City of Manchester, Code of Ordinances.
