To perform internal work needed from water damage. Includes replacing and repairing sheet rock as needed, repainting main office area and any other repaired areas. Some repairs needed are in the counter area of the office where business is conducted, so maintaining office flow is necessary and repairs need to be completed in a timely manner once started. Timetable for completion: June 30, 2024. To schedule an inspection of repairs needed please contact Jen Chamberlain 445-2014 option 3. All proposals will be reviewed at the next Select Board meeting, Monday, April 8th. The meeting begins at 6:30pm. The Town of China reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept other than the low bid, and to otherwise proceed with construction as the best interest of the Town of China may be served. The Contractor shall assume all liabilities known and unknown from actions of you, your employees, your representatives, or company/corporation and that you shall hold the Town of China harmless from those actions. The bid awardee shall be responsible for all applicable OSHA standards. The Contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance of Liability at a minimum of $500,000/$1,000,000 General Liability and Workers Compensation and Employers' Liability Insurance within 10 days after the bid is awarded. (If you are an Independent Contractor, you will need proof of predetermination from the Worker's Compensation board). The Certificate of Insurance must be a General Liability Policy naming the Town of China as an additional named insured.
