The Jefferson Parish Floodplain Management and Hazard Mitigation Department desires to obtain proposals from qualified firms with a minimum experience of eight (8) years in FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) Programs grant writing and funding reimbursements to successfully obtain approvals and reimbursements for expenditures related to federally funded HMA applications. Proposers must possess extensive knowledge in federal and state requirements for applications and reimbursement from GOHSEP/FEMA and must develop close out documentation. Proposers must consult with Parish officials and prepare documentation and applications as required. Proposers must provide the broad-based support services designated to help maximize federal funding, expedite the process and retain funds during the closeout process.
