The Town of Derry, New Hampshire is seeking proposals from interested fire suppression inspection system firms to complete annual inspections of sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers as required by NFPA 25 at a multitude of public buildings in Derry, NH. The buildings that have sprinkler systems are as follows: - Adams Memorial Building, 29 West Broadway - Derry Municipal Center, 14 Manning Street - Derry Highway Garage, 38 Transfer Ln (Dry system) - Derry Transfer Station, 53 Transfer Ln, (Dry System) - Derry Police Station, 1 Municipal Dr - Central Fire Station, 131 East Broadway - Fire Station 2, 190 Warner Hill Rd - Fire Station 3, 1 English Range Rd - Fire Station 4, 74 Hampstead Rd 1. Perform a complete NFPA 25 annual inspection of nine fire suppression systems (ie; water flow, valve activation etc.) as listed below: - Adams Memorial Building, 29 West Broadway - Derry Municipal Center, 14 Manning Street - Derry Highway Garage, 38 Transfer Ln (Dry system) - Derry Transfer Station, 53 Transfer Ln, (Dry System) - Derry Police Station, 1 Municipal Dr - Central Fire Station, 131 East Broadway* - Fire Station 2, 190 Warner Hill Rd* - Fire Station 3, 1 English Range Rd - Fire Station 4, 74 Hampstead Rd 2. Inspect Ansel System on four commercial range hoods located at the four fire stations twice a year. 3. Inspect commercial range hoods at the four fire stations, one time per year and clean as necessary. 4. Inspect and service 175 fire extinguishers at 42 locations. 5. Perform NFPA 25 5 year internal valve and pipe inspection and check all branch lines for corrosion. 6. Contractor must be capable of deactivating and reactivating the fire alarm system while performing testing of suppression system. *This facility includes a pre-action system. **This facility includes a fire booster pump system. The town will consider one year contracts with the option for a one year or two year contract extension if agreeable to both the Town of Derry and the Contractor. A copy of applicable insurance certificate(s) must accompany bids. Minimum insurance coverage is $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate on general liability; Worker's Compensation Coverage in compliance with State Law The Town of Derry reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any proposal that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Town. Addenda to this document, if any, including written answers to questions, will be posted on the Town of Derry under the appropriate heading at least one week prior to the due date.
