Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Fort Plain, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility; pre-engineered storage facility; and for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility.

Construction of a new highway garage within the general area of the previous highway garage at the above referenced site. Work includes limited demolition of existing garage foundations and floor slab, limited site & utility related work, new pre-engineered metal building, foundations, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and fire protection system. Contract 03 - HVAC The Project schedule anticipates an approximate contract award and start date of one (1) month from bid opening and shall be Substantially Completed by November 22, 2024 for Owner Occupancy and completed and ready for final payment by December 23, 2024. The Contractor(s)' surety, if any, shall be assessed liquidated damages for late completion. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. The Town of Minden reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject any or all Bids without explanation. Contract Documents obtained from other sources may not be accurate or may not contain addenda that may have been issued. Costs for sets of printed documents shall be the responsibility of the Bidder. If requested, documents will be sent by UPS Ground delivery at the non-refundable cost of $10.00 per set for postage and handling.
