Site work for a development in Bloomington, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a development.

The City of Bloomington Water Department (CoBWD) seeks to obtain competitive pricing for both selective forestry mulching of dense vegetation and property-line fencing per the specifications contained herein. The project site is an area of approximately 1.8 acres in the Town of Normal and is in the north parcel of the City of Bloomington's water facility at 603 W. Division Street. It is an area of unmanaged vegetation ranging from scrub-shrub upland vegetation to scrub-woodland vegetation with some partial woodland canopy developed. This project is intended to provide selective reduction of the density of scrub and undergrowth vegetation while leaving some mature trees intact. A 10-foot perimeter strip is to be cleared first to allow fencing work to proceed. Bid must be accompanied by a Bid guaranty which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid. Bid guaranty may be a cashier's check, money order, certified bank check, or a surety bond. All guaranties, except surety bonds, will be deposited and reimbursement checks and surety bonds will be issued to unsuccessful bidders following the bid award. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price, within ten (10) business days after the bid award. A. If the bidder will utilize subcontractors, 8% of the total contract amount should be awarded to MBEs, DBEs, and/or WBEs. B. 10% of the total hours should be performed by minority workers and 2% by female workers (or a blend thereof)
