Franklin County, Pennsylvania will receive sealed bids for the Franklin County Courthouse Roof Rehabilitation Project. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. Bids may be held by the Owner and not withdrawn by the contractor for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days after the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract and payment of obligations arising thereunder in the amount of 100% of the Contract on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents. A Waiver of Lien with each Application for Payment is required. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the Bids or to reject any or all bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated. The Owner reserves the right to modify the Contract Documents and re-bid the project, if necessary, to meet Owner's budgetary requirements or to enter into negotiations with any bidder. The work in this project shall be paid for in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442). Rate determinations are in the project manual.
