The center's design is comprised of ten (10) buildings totaling approximately 240,000 gross square feet in a 29-acre footprint, meeting the requirements to form a completely self-sufficient campus for the new Atlanta Center. Buildings include a welcome center, administrative and medical/dental clinic, student services building, education center, child development center, cafeteria, and culinary arts center, 2x 2-story dormitories, recreation center, and a maintenance and storage building. Work to be completed under this contract will include demolition of current structures and utilities along with construction of all new infrastructure and underground utilities. Horizontal site work will likely be required. Underground utilities required are electrical, water (supply, wastewater, stormwater), telecommunications, natural gas for the cafeteria building ONLY, and security/mass notification conduit and pull ropes. 100% designs will be provided for demo and infrastructure construction.
