Renovation of a municipal facility in Natick, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

All Responses shall comply with the RFR issued by the Town of Natick, including, without limitation, Section 1, Instructions to Responders, and Submission Requirements. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any, any part of, or all Responses in the best interest of the Town. Contract award is subject to appropriation and award by the Natick Select Board. Any Response submitted will be binding for thirty (30) days subsequent to the time of opening. Award shall be subject to vote of the Natick Town Administrator and sufficient appropriation/funding. Question Deadline 04/01/2024 at 4:00 PM ET SUMMARY The Limit of Work is to be the exterior covered walks, ramps, landings, and steps at the main entrance to Natick Town Hall. The masonry has deteriorated over the years due to several factors, including, without limitation, general wear and tear, use of salt and/or ice melt, freeze/thaw cycles, water ponding, and impact from hand trucks particularly on stair nosings. Temporary repairs have been made over the years. These repairs, too, are failing, and were done with a different color than the adjacent masonry. Metal anchors to which original metal nosings had been attached, are visible in some areas. Concrete has failed on one (1) landing exposing rusting rebar. The overall goal is to repair, functionally, damaged surfaces, and to provide a uniform aesthetic appearance. The work is to commence in Spring 2024, once weather/environmental conditions are appropriate for the scope of work being performed. With the expectation that the work shall begin early May 2024, the work is to be completed by the end of July 2024.
