However, the Town of Liberty strongly encourages Minority-Owned Business Enterprises, Women-Owned Business Enterprises, and Section 3 Enterprises to respond to this bid opportunity Base Bid Work for Contract TL2-G-24 - General consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the reconstruction of approximately 900 lineal feet of asphalt pavement roadway, including demolition and disposal of existing roadway material, preparation of subgrade surface, installation off new woven geotextile fabric, installation of compacted subbase, and installation of asphalt pavement. The project is located on Boyd Road in the White Sulphur Springs Water District of the Town of Liberty, NY Alternate Bid Items are included in this project. It is requested that all bidders provide Alternate Bid pricing for performing an additional 575 linear feet of road reconstruction on Boyd Road (similar in scope to the base bid portion of the road reconstruction). All on-site construction work for this project shall be substantially completed by May 31, 2024. All construction-related paperwork and contract close-out shall be fully completed by June 7, 2024.
