The City of Madison Community Development Authority ("City") is soliciting Bids from qualified vendors for 626 Braxton Place Boiler Replacement. Replacement of the boiler & domestic hot water systems: 1. Remove & properly dispose of existing equipment. 2. Install (1) Weil-McLain CGa-8 Cast Iron Boiler rated at 233K BTUs @ 84% Efficiency or of like kind with comparable specs. 3. Additional Items to be installed, also within comparable spec of new boiler: o Low Water cut off internal on new boiler. o Auxiliary High Temperature limit. o Resideo XPS-040 20-Gallon Expansion Tank. o Pressure Reducing Valve & Watts Backflow preventer. o Taco 49-150T Air Eliminator. o Tekmar 256 1-Staage Boiler Control. 4. Reconnect the following: 5. Reconnect existing circulator pump to new boiler. 6. Line & Low voltage wiring. 7. Supply & return water piping. 8. Gas pipe and test for leaks. 9. Install Emergency Shut-Down Switch at door to boiler room. 10. Install exhaust venting from the boiler to main chimney. 11. Startup and verify proper operation of the unit. 12.
