The Project is located in various neighborhoods in the City of Richmond. The City of Richmond is looking to select one or more contractor(s) for the As-Needed Concrete Contractor for Sidewalk Construction, ADA Curb Ramp, and Miscellaneous Concrete Repair and execute a construction agreement for up to $1.5M per contractor, and expiration December 31, 2025, with the option to extend the contract for one year. In general, the selected contractor(s) will receive multiple work order packages issued by the City and the City's design team. The City estimates to issue the first work order by June 12, 2024 and construction anticipated to start July 1, 2024. The Project construction is described as follows including incidentals as described in these special provisions: demolition and reconstruction of concrete sidewalks, ADA curb ramps, curbs, gutters, driveway flares and aprons, and similar miscellaneous concrete items to meet the current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, City Standards, State Standard Specification, and of these Special Provisions. The total approximate number of locations will vary between 150-200 locations with approximately 24 curb ramp locations. Any other work order afterwards is related to as-needed cases.
