Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Chappaqua, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.

**As of May 15, 2024, all bids received were rejected and directs that the request for proposal be modified to clarify certain provisions, and the project be rebid. The Project consists of performing District-Wide Capital Improvements - Elementary Schools at the Roaring Brook Elementary School, Douglas Grafflin Elementary School, and the Westorchard Elementary School for the Chappaqua Central School District as shown on the Contract Drawings and described in the Specifications. 1. The scope of the Work of this project is as follows: a) Roaring Brook Elementary School: Playground resurfacing and HVAC upgrades to add ventilation to classrooms and add air conditioning at Gym and Cafeteria. b) Douglas Graffiin Elementary School: Playground resurfacing and HVAC upgrades to add ventilation to Art Rooms, replace Kindergarten HV unit, and add air conditioning at Gym and Cafeteria. c) Westorchard Elementary School: Playground resurfacing, paving projects, and HVAC upgrades to add air conditioning at Gym and Cafeteria. All Requests for Information (RFI's) must be sent in writing to the Architect, Travis Schnell, via email (tschnell@kgdarchitects.com) and Ryan Carper, via email (rcarper@kgdarchitects.com) by the end of business day, March 26, 2024. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a certified check payable to Chappaqua Central School District or by a Bid Bond for a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. All bid security, except those of the three low bidders, will be returned within four days after proposals are submitted. The bid security provided by the three low bidders will be returned after the execution of the Contract. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject all bids which do not seem to be in the best interest of the School District.
