Flag Hill Park Phase Two Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin Bids will be opened after the bid deadline. No in-person attendance at the bid opening will be possible. In general, the project consists of demolition of the existing concrete stairs, some clearing and grubbing of existing wooded areas, paved trail improvements surfaced in concrete and natural trails paved with stabilized aggregate. Along a portion of the natural trail there will be dry-laid stone retaining wall. In addition, a new parking lot with concrete curb and gutter and asphalt paving, concrete stair and timber stair construction utilizing concrete pier and helical pile foundations as well as an ADA accessible playground. The playground construction is planned to be completed in 2025 while all of the other work is to be completed in 2024. A single prime bid will be received for the work. BID SECURITY Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 10% of the maximum bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the Bid Deadline. Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute the Agreement and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. PROJECT FUNDING This project is funded in part by financial assistance from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Municipal Parks, Recreation and Forestry funds. The project will be subject to requirements contained in State Procurement Laws. QUALIFICATIONS Bidders shall submit a Statement of Bidder's Qualifications with their bid.
