Scope of Work: Conduct a thorough assessment of the existing staff lounge space, including structural analysis, utility systems evaluation, and compliance review. Develop a comprehensive design proposal for the conversion of the space into a school-based health clinic, incorporating functional layouts, interior finishes, etc. Prepare detailed architectural drawings, engineering plans, and specifications in accordance with local building codes, ADA requirements, and healthcare industry standards. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including Yale Public School District (YPSD) administration, to ensure alignment with project objectives and regulatory compliance. Provide cost estimates, budget projections, and a project timeline outlining key milestones and deliverables. Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and construction services, adhering to the state of Michigan purchasing guidelines with regard to budgets and schedules. Implement quality assurance measures throughout the construction phase to ensure adherence to design specifications and regulatory standards. Facilitate the installation and integration of medical equipment, technology systems, and furnishings necessary for the operation of the health clinic. Manage construction permits, work, submittals, inspections, etc. for the project. Provide post-construction support, including training sessions for clinic staff, warranty management, and ongoing maintenance recommendations.
