Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate only upon the blank proposal forms provided with the specifications and must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the form of Certified Check or acceptable Bid Bond in the amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Base Bid; such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute contract and post-Performance Bond in the form and amount within the time specified. The Bid Bond, if used, shall be payable to the Owner. Bids on the Project must be received on or before the period scheduled for the Project and no bid withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the Project for a period of thirty (30) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids on any or all projects and to waive informalities. Location- 402 2nd Ave N Columbus, MS 39701 1. Provide and install new toilet partitions and urinal screens where applicable. 2. Demolition of tile floor and installation of new tile flooring. 3. Demolition of wall tile and installation of new wall tile wainscot. 4. Demolition of existing gypsum wall board and installation of new. 5. Painting of gypsum wallboard above tile wainscot. Painting will consist of a 3-coat system. See Spec Section 099123 Interior Painting. 6. Demolition of existing toilet accessories and installation of new. 7. Existing plumbing fixtures to remain. 8. Demolition and installation of new ceiling tiles, ceiling grid, and all light fixtures. 9. Demolition and installation of new quartz vanity. Alternate No. 2 (ADD) CORRIDOR RENOVATION (See Sheet A802). 1. Painting of all noted walls. Painting will consist of a 3-coat system. See Spec Section 099123 Interior Painting. 2. Demolition and installation of new ceiling tile, grid, and troffer light fixtures (refer to electrical drawings). Alternate No. 3 (ADD) AUDITORIUM PAINTING (See Sheet A803). 1.
